Scribus is a free DTP app, which gives you a useful variety of tools with which you can complete all manner of various projects. It comes packed with preloaded templates or you can create your own document from scratch. The template options are varied and professional looking. Whether you're creating brochures, business cards, newsletters, PDF. Scribus 1.5.3 & GIMP 2.8 I'm a day old newbie at Scribus and have learned a lot since yesterday. I watched a tutorial yesterday from someone who inserted an image and then edited it in GIMP. Is there a 'reverse' way of Scribus using that edited image without having to export it from GIMP, close GIMS and get image again in Scribus?

IntroductionScribus is an Open SourceDTP (Desktop Publishing) application for Linux and other flavors of Unix and Unix-like systems, including Mac OS X , as well as OS/2 and eComStation respectively, and Windows 2000 or later. This Wiki has been created in order to give users a place to put HOWTOs, tips or ideas on using or enhancing Scribus. Large parts of the documentation available here have been contributed by Scribus users. However, as of December 2010, the Scribus wiki also hosts “official” documents provided by the Scribus Team. Not surprisingly, these are labelled “Official”. The content of the Scribus Help Browser, another set of “official” documents, is also available online via http://docs.scribus.net.
